International Clinical Placement
NARM requires a minimum of 45 births before you can take the standardized exam. Since minimal completion should never be our goal; it is the desire of CORD to offer as many training possibilities as possible to aspiring midwives.
Different International placements are for students of varying skill levels. New students should choose placements with direct supervision. Students who have completed at least 40 domestic births with at least 20 continuity of care may choose faster paced placements.
We also accept newly graduated nursing students who would like more experience in Labor and Delivery.
